UK Lawyers for Israel has written to service providers of Bitchute.com, a website that hosts violent, racist, and harmful videos, urging them to terminate their relationship with the organisation. The CST compiled a report called Hate Fuel, which highlighted BitChute as one of the four most dangerous outlets of extreme antisemitic content on the internet.
Bit Chute Limited is the UK company, set up in January 2017 by tech entrepreneurs Ray Vahey and Richard Anthony Jones, that runs the video-sharing platform Bitchute.com.
Videos posted on Bitchute.com, which are easily and openly accessible to anyone, promote extreme anti-Semitism and hate. For example, on the platform you can find a truly shocking parody of the “Friends” theme tune called “We must gas the Jews”, featuring concentration camp photographs, and lyrics including
“it seems these kikes have taken all my dough, you know what we must do, it’s time for them to go… We must gas the Jews until the ovens are full …. They’ll be glowing like coal …cos they’re evil Hebrews … gotta bake each and every kike until they’re nice and crispy … I want to start each day with Hebrews huddled in a pit and when they’re beaten and stripped, we must gas each and every Jew”
Bitchute also hosts a horrendous holocaust-denying video called “We really have to gas the kikes this time” which says (over pictures of Auschwitz) “Aren’t you all sick of blaming Nazis, ..Don’t you understand history is warped by the Jews ..you should all know by now we gassed no Jews … the only victors of world war II they were Jews.”
Another video is called “I’m not white I’m a filthy kike – Boris Jewson”
On 12 June 2020, the UK-based Community Security Trust (CST) published a report called “Hate Fuel”, which highlighted BitChute as one of the four most dangerous outlets of extreme antisemitic content on the internet.
UK Lawyers for Israel has contacted Bitchute’s internet service providers to request that they terminate their relationship with Bitchute, and has also written to Lord Mann, the government’s antisemitism tsar, to ask him to do regarding this website.
Caroline Turner, UKLFI director, commented: “It is shocking that such vile antisemitic content has been uploaded to a UK website, and I hope that now Bitchute’s service providers have been made aware of the situation, they will immediately remove this hateful content.”
