Or Yissachar is Israel’s Defense and Security Forum’s Head of Research Department and Director of Content.   Or Yissachar is a national security researcher and team lead in the Israeli high-tech industry, leading the IDSF-Habithonistim’s Research Department.

Or has served in the Intelligence Corps’ elite 8200 unit and speaks 5 languages, including French and Persian. Or’s researches focus on Iran, Israel’s security strategy vis-à-vis the Arab World, and the Palestinian front. He also researches the European Union’s and the United States’ security strategies. Apart from his research work and high-tech career he is a concert pianist and a composer.

He has an MA in the International Security Program from the Paris School of International Affairs  and a BA in Piano Performance and Musicology, from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University.  His publications are here: https://idsf.org.il/en/team-members/or-issachar/

Lt.-Col. (res.) Maurice Hirsch is Senior Legal Analyst at Human Rights Voices and Director of the Palestinian Authority Accountability Initiative at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs. He also works as research associate at the Israel Institute of Public Affairs.

Hirsch served as the Director of the Military Prosecution for Judea and Samaria, specialising in the prosecution of terrorists, the Palestinian Authority and International Law as applied in Judea and Samaria. Hirsch had a number of senior positions in the Military Advocate General’s Corps, including Assistant to the Legal Advisor to Judea and Samaria and Head of Legal Advice to the Navy, Air Force, Ground Forces and Home Front.  Following his retirement from the IDF, Hirsch worked as the Head of Legal Strategies for Palestinian Media Watch.

Natasha Hausdorff is a barrister at 6 Pump Court Chambers and a frequent speaker on International Law. She has a law degree from Oxford University, qualified as a solicitor at Skadden, and subsequently gained an LLM from Tel Aviv University, focussing on public international law and the law of armed conflict.

She clerked for Miriam Naor, President of Israel’s Supreme Court, and was a Fellow at Columbia Law School’s National Security Program. Natasha is legal director of UKLFI Charitable Trust.
