Amazon has suppressed the sale of  a decorative canvas from sale because it breached their “ offensive and controversial products”  policies. It is currently not available for sale.

This follows a complaint by UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI) about the offensive and abusive “decorative image” printed on canvas, which depicted an Israeli soldier shooting a Palestinian child through the head.

UKLFI pointed out that the sale of the faux painting which was entitled “Israel Kills Child”, was likely to breach the Public Order Act 1986, and breached Amazon’s own terms and conditions of sale.  

Caroline Turner, director of UKLFI commented: “We are very pleased that Amazon acted swiftly to remove this offensive item, and has enforced its policies on “offensive and controversial products.”
